Alienware AMD-based SLI PC System

Tom's Hardware Guide is reporting: PC maker Alienware extended its systems offering dual graphic cards with the AMD-based Aurora 7500 model. The company previously had introduced an Area 51 Intel system equipped with SLI components. The standard system is priced at $2250 and includes an Athlon 64 3000+ processor, 512 MByte memory, two GeForce 6800 GT graphics cards, an Alienware-branded cooling system, an 80 GByte harddrive and a DVD burner. The Intel-based Area 51 ALX SLI ist priced at slightly more than $6000.
