Recommendation

Madame Weber,

Comment allez-vous? I hope you are doing well and living the good
life. Besides not
sleeping as much as I should, I certainty am.

I am really enjoying my studies at Rutgers (the french is fast and
furious, entailing over a chapter a week, with a couple hours of
language labs mixed in). A tiny upstart engineering college (Olin) is
interested in me applying as a freshman for the class of 2013.
Admission is very competitive. The school is getting a lot great
reviews. Princeton Review included it in its list of the "25 new
ivies". I would be very honored if you could write an appraisal for
me!

The attached form, along with your letter of appraisal, should be
mailed to the following address:

Office of Admission
Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering
Olin Way | Needham, MA 02492

Also, I will be applying to some of the real ivy league schools as a
freshman, so I
hope you don't mind too much if i send another 10 or so your way.

How are the new recruits? Is this what happened to the curve:

A=70%
F=-10%

However, I am sure Diana is keeping the bar high in French III!
