Speech 2 Text for Cell Phones

The Register is running a story about the company Carphone Warehous working with SpinVox to test a service that lets cell phone users convert their voicemail to text messages that could be easily read. SpinVox can also convert voicemail messages into e-mails. The company claims that nine out of ten people who tried the free trial ended up paying for the service. I could not imagine the accuracy rate being that high, though, because even desktop-computer-based programs like this need to be trained to the specific person.
