AOL Locks Out IM Users

When AOL was doing its every 12 month deletion of old, abandoned IM accounts they accidently turned off an undisclosed amount of active (still used) IM accounts. AOL is working to restore the mistakenly turned-off accounts by Monday. To those who have had their account(s) turned off they issued this apology:

"We sincerely regret the interruption of service which some users may have experienced as a result, and we apologize for the inconvenience this interruption may have caused,"
